What Now?!?

February 26, 2008

Only twelve weeks to go!

You should be working to finish Illustrator, Photoshop and then Flash.  When you finish all of the assigned chapters in each application, you should see me.

Don’t forget that every day of class, you are required to post a blog about what you learned in class with a TEK. Blogs without a description of what you did and a TEK don’t count.  Your blog is NOT for personal reflection. I don’t need to know who you like, what you did last night or what movie you saw. Save that deep reflection for English class.

HOLD THE PHONE!!!

February 22, 2008

IF you don’t send me an email to tell me your exam is done (like it says in the instructions), and I don’t have your blog address, you get a zero.

Exchange Students

February 22, 2008

If you want to have an amazing experience in another country that will change your life, think about being an exchange student. The exchange program from Rotary writes:

The Rotary Club of Austin is looking for high school students who want to spend a year studying abroad.  Please pass this along to any students you know who may be interested.  Share it with teachers as well.

We are looking for students who are interested in a year-long exchange.  The orientation  is usually held in October for a weekend.  I have attached the link to the RI website that will give all the details on our youth exchange program.   If a student is interested, they will need to complete an application.

Incomplete Grades

February 20, 2008

If your initials are TB, HD, MH, RM or NS, you may have incompletes on your grades for the first semester.

Since it is your responsibility to resolve these incompletes, you need to discuss them with me. If you do not take care of your incomplete, on Monday,  February 25th, the incomplete will be changed to a failing grade, which may affect whether you receive credit for the first semester.
